Our Lehigh Valley Skilled Nursing Office and Lehighton Pediatrics Office is interested in a nurse who has a passion for care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. We have several clients, both adults and pediatrics, that need in home care in Schuylkill County. We have openings for days, evenings, or overnights depending on the client.

Qualifications for a private duty nurse:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care's Lehigh Valley and Lehighton offices are seeking a licensed practical nurse for private duty work in Schuylkill County. This role differs meaningfully from traditional home health: you'll provide one-on-one care to the same client during each shift, building genuine relationships while executing physician orders, performing assessments, and documenting clinical observations. Shifts are structured (4s, 8s, 10s, or 12s) across days, evenings, or overnights, and you'll have autonomy to choose a schedule that fits your life.
The position requires a current Pennsylvania nursing license and completion of an accredited nursing program. Your day involves traveling to a client's home, managing their care independently, and maintaining thorough documentation—work that draws on clinical judgment and direct patient interaction rather than coordinating multiple visits.
