Our Pocono Skilled Nursing Office is interested in a nurse who has a passion for care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
We have several clients who need nursing care during day light hours Monday-Friday; part time and full time availability at home and school!

What makes private duty nursing different than home health visits?
- Traditional shifts (4’s, 8’s, 10’s or 12’s)
- Hands-on care with only one client per day

Qualifications for a private duty nurse:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

About this role
BAYADA's Pocono Skilled Nursing Office is seeking a licensed practical nurse for part-time private duty work in the Stroudsburg area, serving clients who need daytime care Monday through Friday. Unlike traditional home health visits, this role centers on building ongoing relationships with individual clients in their homes or schools, delivering hands-on nursing care with real autonomy. You'll manage your own schedule, execute physician orders, perform assessments, and document care—working with the same client each shift rather than rotating between multiple visits.
The position requires a current Pennsylvania nursing license and completion of an accredited LPN program. BAYADA emphasizes flexibility and support: you'll receive weekly paychecks, access to free training and courses, and a $1,200 referral bonus.
