- 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Experience with the following is preferred but not mandatory (we can train you!):
- G-tube care
- Respiratory treatments
- Suctioning

- Traditional shifts (4’s, 8’s, 10’s or 12’s)

Qualifications for a private duty nurse:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring licensed practical nurses for private duty shifts in Shenandoah, serving individual clients in their homes. You'd work traditional shifts (4, 8, 10, or 12 hours) with one client per day, handling assessments, executing physician orders, performing skilled nursing care, and maintaining detailed documentation. The role emphasizes autonomy and relationship-building—you'll develop continuity with your clients and see tangible progress over time, which differs meaningfully from the episodic nature of typical home health visits.
The position suits nurses who value schedule predictability and want to deepen their clinical impact through sustained one-on-one care. Experience with G-tube care, respiratory treatments, suctioning, and enteral feedings is preferred but not required; BAYADA provides training. Both 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts are available, so you can choose what works for your life.
