About this role
The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is seeking a paralegal with at least two years of Texas family law experience to manage the full lifecycle of family law and estate planning matters across their 16-location practice. You'll own cases from intake through resolution, drafting pleadings and discovery responses, tracing complex financial assets, and preparing trial materials alongside attorneys. This role demands technical proficiency with E-Filing systems, Clio/MyCase, and document management platforms, paired with the judgment to navigate emotionally charged litigation while maintaining ethical boundaries.
The position offers a hybrid arrangement designed to protect work-life balance, with a base salary of $50,000–$75,000 plus a billable hour bonus structure that can add up to $35,000 annually. You'll receive comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching up to 5%, medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, and company-sponsored CLE support. The firm emphasizes a collaborative team environment where paralegals are treated as the backbone of case strategy rather than administrative support, with onboarding training and mentorship opportunities built in.
This role suits someone who thrives on case ownership and strategic problem-solving in family law rather than business development, and who values working within an established firm structure that handles marketing and administrative operations separately.
