Our Lehighton Pediatrics Office is interested in a nurse who has a passion for care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Meet Our Client:
Our Mahanoy City-based client would love a nurse who has experience with (or is willing to learn) caring for a child with Type 1 Diabetes & a G-tube.
They need nursing care:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 6:30A-4:30P or Mondays through Fridays 10:30P-6:30A.
They are willing to accept a PT or FT nurse to fill some of these open shifts.
Pay range for this client is up to $35 an hour.

Qualifications for a private duty nurse:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

About this role
BAYADA's Lehighton Pediatrics Office is seeking an LPN for private duty nursing care in Mahanoy City, serving a pediatric client with Type 1 Diabetes and a G-tube. The role offers flexible scheduling across day and night shifts—either Monday, Tuesday, and Friday daytime hours (6:30 AM–4:30 PM) or overnight Monday through Friday (10:30 PM–6:30 AM)—with the option to work part-time or full-time. Pay reaches up to $35 per hour for this client.
Unlike traditional home health visits, private duty nursing means building an ongoing relationship with one client and their family, delivering hands-on care during consistent shifts, and documenting observations and interventions with clinical autonomy. You'll execute physician orders, perform assessments, and monitor the client's condition in their home environment. Experience with pediatric diabetes management or G-tube care is valued, though BAYADA provides on-the-job training for nurses willing to learn.
