Our Poconos Pediatrics Office is interested in a nurse who has a passion for care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Our Tobyhanna-based client would love a nurse who has experience with (or is willing to learn) caring for someone with a nontraumatic intracerebral hemorrhage. Working hours are still in the approval process for this client.

Qualifications for a private duty nurse:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

About this role
BAYADA's Poconos Pediatrics Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for private duty work with a pediatric client in Tobyhanna who has experienced a nontraumatic intracerebral hemorrhage. This is a one-on-one care role where you'll work traditional shifts of your choosing—whether 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours—traveling to the client's home nearby. Your day involves executing and documenting physician orders, performing assessments, monitoring the client's condition, and maintaining detailed records of observations and interventions. The role offers genuine autonomy in a home setting and the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with your client while supporting their recovery and milestones.
You'll need a current Pennsylvania nursing license in good standing and completion of an accredited nursing program. While experience caring for intracerebral hemorrhage patients is valued, BAYADA offers on-the-job training and free courses if you're willing to develop this expertise.
