  • Coordinate stage gates, assurance checkpoints and quality reviews in line with Strategy and Transformation delivery standards.
  • Track programme benefits, scope, budget inputs and resource requirements, working with Finance, delivery teams and PMOs to keep information current and defensible.
  • Support governance across multiple data workstreams, including data platforms, governance, integration, analytics enablement and AI readiness.
  • Create and maintain programme artefacts including plans, packs, templates, action logs, governance materials and management information.
  • Work with internal teams, vendors and delivery partners to ensure commitments, dependencies and actions are understood and followed through.
  • Champion consistent use of delivery tools and standards, including Transformation Delivery Framework, Wrike and agreed programme management templates.

What you'll need:

  • Data, analytics, cloud or technology delivery awareness desirable, including familiarity with enterprise data platforms, governance, reporting or AI enablement.
  • Experience using PMO, planning and reporting tools such as Wrike, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong PMO experience supporting large-scale, complex technology or data transformation programmes in a global or multi-entity organisation.
  • Ability to build and maintain integrated plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers, action logs and governance materials with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident producing high-quality executive reporting, with the ability to translate detailed delivery updates into clear messages, decisions and next steps.
  • Good understanding of programme governance, stage gates, assurance, delivery controls, financial tracking and benefits reporting.
  • Comfortable working across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, vendors and geographies, with the confidence to follow up, challenge constructively and drive closure.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to create structure in ambiguity and keep competing priorities moving without losing sight of detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear, concise and professional style suitable for senior audiences.
  • Collaborative, proactive and resilient, with the ability to build trusted relationships and support a positive delivery culture.

About this role

WPP's Global PMO, Data role sits at the centre of a major transformation initiative, managing the day-to-day delivery rhythm of the company's data modernisation programme. You'd work closely with the Programme Director to establish integrated plans, maintain governance cadence, track risks and dependencies, and produce executive reporting that translates complex delivery detail into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. The scope spans multiple workstreams—data platforms, governance, integration, analytics and AI—across a global organisation, so you'd need to coordinate across internal teams, vendors and delivery partners while maintaining consistent standards and discipline.

This is a strong fit if you have solid PMO experience supporting large-scale technology or data transformation programmes, ideally in multi-entity or global settings. You'll need hands-on capability with planning and reporting tools like Wrike, Excel and Power BI, plus a track record of building and maintaining integrated plans, RAID logs and governance materials with rigorous attention to detail. A formal qualification such as PRINCE2 or MSP is desirable, as is awareness of data, analytics or cloud delivery—though practical experience in these areas matters more than deep technical expertise.

Success here depends on strong organisational skills, the ability to work confidently across competing priorities and multiple stakeholders, and excellent communication that translates delivery complexity for senior audiences. You'll need to be proactive, resilient and comfortable challenging constructively to drive closure and keep the programme aligned to strategic outcomes.
