Description

Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single person’s daily commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint — we’ve got huge goals.

As a Commercial Intern, you'll support our Partnerships and Partner Success teams in London, working with our partners and services across the UK. You’ll gain hands-on experience across everything from prepping commercial materials to helping existing partners grow and improve their services. Along the way, you'll build practical skills, learn from supportive and passionate teammates, and help bring efficient, sustainable, and inclusive transportation to more communities worldwide.

This is a full-time internship based in London, with a minimum duration of 6 months. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, ideally with a start date between November 2026 and January 2027. The role follows a hybrid working model. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

About the Role:

  • Become an expert on Via — build a nuanced understanding of our tech, use cases, and best practices to support partners and internal teams effectively.
  • Support the Partnerships team by preparing materials, insights, and research that help them close and grow deals.
  • Contribute to best-in-class quality assurance by thoroughly testing new product features before partner roll-outs and drafting clear, easy-to-follow product documentation.
  • Set up marketing campaigns to help partners boost ridership and build compelling materials to showcase their success stories.
  • Analyze service performance data to support quarterly business reviews, providing partners with actionable recommendations to improve quality, efficiency, and growth.

About you:

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a real plus.
  • A final-year undergraduate, master's student, or recent graduate with some prior work experience, eager to learn by doing.
  • A creative problem-solver who questions how things have "always" been done and isn't afraid to suggest a smarter way.
  • A clear communicator who can adapt to different audiences, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Proactive, curious, and entrepreneurial — energized by a mix of commercial and technical challenges.

What We Offer:

  • Joining a global employer with 1,000+ mobility deployments across 40+ countries.
  • Becoming part of a company that was awarded for its commitment to social good:
    • We are one of 17 Ventures That Embody the U.N.’s 17 Sustainability Goals.
    • Inc. Magazine’s “Best in Business” Awardee in the software category for Companies That Put Purpose Before Profit
  • Base salary pay: £2,600 per month, based on a 40-hour week.
  • A hybrid working model and a spacious office near Chancery Lane where you can enjoy weekly team lunch and breakfast.

There has never been a more exciting time to be on the cutting edge of public mobility. Ready to join the ride?

Via is an equal opportunity employer.

About this role

Via is seeking a Commercial Intern to support its Partnerships and Partner Success teams in London for a minimum six-month placement starting between November 2026 and January 2027. You'll work across a range of commercial activities: preparing materials and research to help close and grow deals, testing new product features before partner rollouts, drafting documentation, setting up marketing campaigns to boost ridership, and analyzing service performance data to inform quarterly business reviews. The role is hybrid, based near Chancery Lane, and offers £2,600 per month.

This internship suits someone who is a final-year undergraduate, master's student, or recent graduate with some prior work experience—someone who combines commercial acumen with technical curiosity. You should be a clear communicator comfortable adapting to different audiences, detail-oriented, and proactive about spotting problems and proposing solutions. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are valued. The role demands both creative problem-solving and a willingness to dig into data and product specifics, making it ideal for someone energized by a mix of business and technical challenges rather than a single narrow focus.

Via operates 1,000+ mobility deployments across 40+ countries and has been recognized for embedding sustainability and social purpose into its work. Note that visa sponsorship is not available, so you must have the right to work in the UK.
