About this role
Guild Garage Group operates Prutch's Garage Door & More and Vail Valley Garage Door in the Edwards area, serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Gunnison Valley. This full-time position puts you on the front lines of garage door installation, repair, and maintenance—work that directly impacts how people access their homes and businesses, especially in a mountain environment where weather reliability matters. You'll diagnose problems, execute repairs and installations, walk customers through their options, and document your work thoroughly. The role requires you to coordinate with dispatchers and teammates, stay organized across a seven-day-a-week operation (7 a.m. to 8 p.m.), and work rotating shifts.
The position suits someone with at least two years of hands-on garage door experience who combines technical troubleshooting skills with genuine customer communication ability. You'll need to be comfortable lifting over 75 pounds, working at heights, and handling standard tools safely. Beyond the technical demands, the company emphasizes accountability, problem-solving, and the ability to recommend practical solutions—not just execute them. Guild Garage Group backs this work with medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; a 401(k) match; and a commitment to ongoing training and career growth. The company conducts background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks before hire. The pay range is $25–$35 per hour.
