About this role

Working as a Loss Prevention Officer at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas means serving as the property's primary security presence across all areas of the hotel. You'll monitor surveillance systems and alarm networks, conduct regular hazard inspections, manage guest and employee safety during emergencies, and respond to incidents ranging from accidents to disturbances. The role requires strong situational awareness, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and proficiency in incident documentation and investigation.

This position suits someone comfortable with physical demands—extended standing and walking throughout shifts, moving quickly when needed, and occasionally lifting or carrying items up to 50 pounds. You'll interact regularly with guests and staff, requiring professional communication skills and the ability to handle complaints and defuse conflicts tactfully. The job calls for attention to detail when reviewing security footage and written reports, as well as the discretion to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

No prior security experience or certifications are required to apply, though some states may have additional licensing requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Dallas.
