About this role

EquipmentShare is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own relationships with large, multi-location customers across the Mountain West region from their Phoenix office. You'd serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, identifying opportunities to expand the company's share of their rental, equipment, service, and technology spending. The role involves negotiating master service agreements, building strategic account plans, coordinating across local branches and specialty divisions, and routing leads to other sales teams—essentially acting as a quarterback between the customer and EquipmentShare's full range of resources.

This position suits someone with at least five years of sales or account-management experience, ideally with exposure to construction equipment, rental operations, and large projects. You'll need strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, a valid driver's license, and comfort traveling extensively. Familiarity with construction-market intelligence tools like Dodge and proficiency with EquipmentShare's T3 platform and standard sales software are expected. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

The base salary runs $65,000–$80,000, but total compensation can reach $150,000–$600,000 with uncapped commission. EquipmentShare offers standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, and professional development opportunities. Note that this is listed as a volunteer position, which may indicate a non-traditional employment arrangement worth clarifying before applying.
