DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring Commercial Entry Door Technicians to service a variety of entry doors and door hardware in Austin, TX and surrounding areas. You must be able to troubleshoot, work without supervision, and have great attention to detail. If you've worked as a general laborer, carpenter, field technician, mechanic, glazer, or in any skilled trade — we want to talk!
What You'll Do
- Service all products, to include doors and dock equipment cleanly and accurately
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
- Tracking and maintaining job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
- Always operating in safety conscious manner while performing job duties
- Other responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to safely lift up to 100 pounds over your head
- Commercial door experience and welding experience is a plus but not required
- Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade is preferred

About this role
D.H. Pace Company is looking for Commercial Entry Door Technicians to service and maintain commercial doors and related equipment across the Austin area. You'd be responsible for diagnosing and repairing door systems, identifying upsell opportunities for customers, and managing job documentation—all while maintaining strict safety standards and working independently in the field. The role requires the ability to lift 100 pounds overhead and a valid driver's license with a clean record.
The company values hands-on experience over formal credentials. If you've worked in construction, carpentry, mechanical repair, welding, glazing, or any skilled trade, you're a fit even without specific door experience. D.H.
