About this role

Nimble Robotics is building autonomous supply chain robots, and this Cloud Software Engineer III role sits at the center of that mission. You'd own full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure—designing automation workflows, writing rigorous tests, shipping features end to end, and keeping systems running in production. The work spans REST APIs, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, with an emphasis on performance debugging and cloud security. You'd also mentor junior engineers as the team scales.

The role demands a Computer Science degree and at least one year of software engineering experience, plus demonstrated competency across the full cloud stack. This isn't a specialist position; you need breadth in both application development and infrastructure. The company is well-funded ($220M raised, $1B+ valuation) with a FedEx partnership already in place, so the pace is genuinely high-intensity. Compensation ranges from $135,699 to $156,000 annually, plus equity. The position is based in San Francisco and requires in-office work.

This role suits engineers who thrive in fast-moving, mission-driven environments and want hands-on impact across the entire stack. If you're comfortable with production support responsibilities and mentoring others while shipping at speed, and you're drawn to robotics and supply chain automation, it's worth exploring. Apply by sending your resume to Shannon Zheng (Shannon.Zheng@nimble.ai) and Martina Lam (martina.lam@nimble.ai).
