This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
Everpure is seeking a Senior Insurance Manager to lead our global corporate insurance and risk-transfer program and protect enterprise value across our scaling operations.
Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, you will serve as Everpure’s primary subject-matter expert for corporate insurance, risk financing, and contractual risk transfer. You’ll own our global insurance portfolio and develop capital-efficient strategies across property, casualty, financial, supply chain, and specialty risks.
This is a highly visible individual contributor role partnering across Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Credit, HR, InfoSec, and Facilities to identify emerging exposures, optimize our total cost of risk, and ensure our insurance strategy evolves alongside the business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead Global Insurance Strategy & Renewals: Own Everpure’s global corporate insurance portfolio across property, casualty, financial, and specialty lines. Lead end-to-end annual renewals, including exposure analysis, underwriting submissions, market negotiations, coverage structure, limits, deductibles and retentions, binding, and policy issuance.
- Optimize Risk Financing & Capital Efficiency: Develop Everpure’s risk-retention and risk-financing strategy, using quantitative analysis to evaluate commercial insurance, self-insurance, retention, and alternative risk-transfer structures. Assess captive insurance opportunities and support implementation and governance where economically justified.
- Manage Trade Credit & Financial Risk Protection: Partner with Credit and Finance to manage Everpure’s trade credit insurance program, monitor customer exposures against insurer limits, and optimize protection of receivables and financial performance.
- Mitigate Supply Chain & Operational Risk: Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Facilities to assess exposures across contract manufacturers, suppliers, inventory, transit, and logistics providers. Evaluate stock throughput, cargo, property, business interruption, catastrophe, and concentration risks and drive solutions to close material coverage gaps.
- Establish Contractual Risk-Transfer Standards: Serve as the enterprise authority on insurance and risk allocation within commercial contracts, partnering closely with Legal on indemnification, additional insured requirements, subrogation, liability terms, and other contractual risk-transfer provisions.
- Lead Claims, Loss Prevention & Risk Engineering: Oversee significant insurance claims and work with brokers, adjusters, carriers, and Legal to maximize recoveries. Coordinate site inspections, risk engineering, and property/catastrophe evaluations, driving remediation of recommendations that improve Everpure’s overall risk profile and insurability.
- Evaluate Emerging & Strategic Risks: Assess the insurance and risk-financing implications of new business models, products, global expansion, M&A, and other strategic initiatives as Everpure grows.
- Drive Insurance Analytics & Executive Governance: Build and maintain risk-financing analytics covering premiums, limits, deductibles, losses, claims, and total cost of risk. Provide executive reporting on coverage strategy, emerging exposures, and the effectiveness of Everpure’s risk-financing framework.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Deep Corporate Insurance Expertise: 10+ years of progressive corporate insurance, risk management, or brokerage experience, with demonstrated expertise managing complex, multi-line insurance portfolios and global renewals across property, casualty, financial, and specialty lines.
- Risk Financing & Quantitative Acumen: Strong experience evaluating insurance structures, retention strategies, total cost of risk, and alternative risk-transfer solutions, with the ability to translate quantitative analysis into clear business recommendations.
- Complex Operational Risk Experience: Experience navigating insurance and risk within a global technology, hardware, manufacturing, or similarly complex operating environment. Exposure to supply chain, stock throughput, cargo, trade credit, captive structures, or M&A risk is highly valued.
- Commercial & Contractual Risk Expertise: Strong understanding of contractual risk transfer and the ability to advise Legal and business partners on indemnification, liability allocation, insurance requirements, and related commercial terms.
- Executive & Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to operate as a trusted subject-matter expert across Finance, Legal, Operations, and executive leadership, influence decisions without direct authority, and communicate complex risk concepts in clear business terms.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. CPCU, ARM, CRM, or other relevant professional designations are a plus.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
