About this role

Esri's Professional Services organization is seeking a DevOps engineer to design and maintain the CI/CD platforms and infrastructure that enable secure, reliable software delivery across mission-critical systems. You'll work with modern tooling including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform and Ansible, while also implementing DevSecOps practices such as SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and artifact signing. The role spans the full delivery pipeline—from build environments and container orchestration to cloud automation and Kubernetes-based deployments.

This position requires at least two years of hands-on DevOps or platform automation experience, with demonstrated proficiency in designing CI/CD pipelines, writing infrastructure definitions in YAML, and scripting in Python or JavaScript. You'll need solid grounding in Docker, container deployments, artifact and dependency management, and exposure to AWS or Azure cloud services. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, DevOps, GIS, or a related STEM field is required, along with US citizenship and an active or current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

The role is based in Globe, Arizona and requires in-office work. Esri offers a competitive total rewards package including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) and profit-sharing, a minimum of 80 vacation hours annually, and twelve paid holidays. The salary range is $97,240–$162,240 USD, with compensation determined by experience, certifications, and relevant skills.
