Overhead Door Company of Albuquerque™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring Commercial Door Technicians to join our team in Albuquerque, NM and surrounding areas. In this role you will repair and/or install a variety of commercial doors. If you've worked as a general laborer, carpenter, field technician, mechanic, glazer, or in any skilled trade — we want to talk!
What You'll Do
- Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial doors and dock hardware, including but not limited to rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors, and dock levelers/equipment
- Identify opportunities to recommend products and services to customers
- Maintain accurate job-related paperwork
- Operate safely and professionally on every job site
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- A valid drivers license and good driving record
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs.
- Comfort working at heights and using a ladder
- Mechanical, carpentry, or service industry experience a plus
- May require some travel for out-of-town work

About this role
D.H. Pace's Albuquerque location is looking for Commercial Door Technicians to install and repair commercial door systems—rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors, dock levelers, and related equipment. The work is hands-on and field-based, involving both technical installation and maintenance, with opportunities to identify customer needs for additional products and services. You'll be responsible for maintaining job documentation and upholding safety standards on every site.
No prior door experience is required; the company actively welcomes people transitioning from general labor, carpentry, mechanical work, or other skilled trades. You'll need a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to lift 100 pounds and work at heights. The role includes paid training to get you up to speed on DH Pace's products and processes.
