About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a Corporate Counsel to manage commercial contracting and procurement legal matters across the organization. Based in the Pennsauken, New Jersey area with hybrid flexibility, this role sits within the legal department supporting the Associate General Counsel on a broad portfolio of agreements—leases, service contracts, SaaS agreements, clinical affiliations, and vendor relationships. You'd be the primary drafter and negotiator on these deals, responsible for identifying legal risks, advising business partners on strategy, and working directly with the Procurement Director to optimize vendor relationships and drive process improvements.
The ideal candidate is a pragmatic, detail-oriented attorney with at least four years of commercial contracting experience, ideally with exposure to leases and SaaS agreements. Healthcare or tech sector background is valued. You'll need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders, and the judgment to escalate appropriately. The role also calls for staying current on relevant compliance areas—Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA, data privacy regulations, and AI governance—to provide timely guidance as the business evolves.
This is a contract position offering $140,000–$150,000 annually plus bonus opportunity, with standard benefits including health coverage, 401(k) match, and paid time off. As a nonprofit, BAYADA employees may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. You'd spend at least two days per week at headquarters, with flexibility for remote work otherwise.
