About this role
DeterTech's integration landscape depends on reliable data flows between Salesforce, their Alarm Receiving Centre platform, and core business systems across manufacturing and finance. This role brings dedicated MuleSoft capability to that mission, working alongside an Integration Lead to build and maintain the API connections and event flows that keep those systems synchronized. You'll own operational responsibility for live integration pipelines—eliminating single points of failure so critical workflows continue running smoothly during project peaks and team absences.
The work is hands-on and collaborative. You'll design and support RESTful APIs and event-driven flows using the Anypoint Platform, troubleshoot runtime exceptions and payload mismatches across distributed systems, and partner closely with Salesforce colleagues, ARC developers, QA, and the Technical Delivery Manager to align technical dependencies with delivery timelines. Documentation, monitoring, and incident triage are core to the role; you'll maintain flow diagrams, runbooks, and error queues while upholding strict data security and GDPR standards.
This suits someone with solid MuleSoft and API integration experience who has worked with cloud business systems like Salesforce or ERP platforms, understands integration architecture and best practice, and is comfortable providing independent operational cover for production systems. The role is fully remote with occasional in-person collaboration expected. A MuleSoft certification, experience with manufacturing or IoT systems, or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines would strengthen your candidacy.
