About this role
Louisiana Dermatology Associates is hiring an Aesthetician-Laser Technician to deliver clinical skin treatments and advanced laser procedures at their Baton Rouge practice. You'll assess clients' skin conditions, perform facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and operate specialized equipment including PDT Blue Light therapy, Excimer Laser, NBUVB Phototherapy, and CoolSculpting systems. The role combines direct patient care with client education—explaining treatment options, following up on results, and communicating about new services and promotions.
Beyond clinical work, you'll handle the operational side: maintaining treatment records in the patient management system, managing supplies, processing prior authorizations, and scheduling appointments. This is a full-time, in-office position that demands reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a healthcare setting. You'll need a valid Aesthetician license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally some prior experience in dermatology or a spa environment, though entry-level candidates with minimal experience are considered. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.
The job requires you to be on your feet regularly, with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, and demands strong close and distance vision. This role suits someone committed to patient care who can work independently while managing administrative responsibilities in a clinical environment.
