Key Responsibilities
The role will initially be based in Amsterdam, with opportunities to become involved in projects across Belgium as well. Whether you're more interested in the technical or commercial side of real estate development, Goodman offers the chance to explore both. Depending on your interests and ambitions, you will take on a challenging and varied role, working on projects from initial concept through to completion. You'll enjoy a high degree of responsibility, autonomy and exposure to all stages of the development process. You will work in an international environment alongside experienced and bright professionals, helping deliver the next generation of real estate solutions while keeping sustainability at the core of everything we do.

- Supporting feasibility studies and project design.
- Assisting with planning and permitting processes.
- Participating in contractor selection and procurement activities.
- Conducting technical due diligence on potential acquisition opportunities.

- A positive, proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

About this role
Goodman is seeking a Junior Development Manager to join its Belgium-Netherlands team, working from the Vilvoorde office with exposure to projects across both countries. The role offers genuine flexibility in how you engage with real estate development—you can lean toward the technical side (feasibility studies, planning, procurement, technical due diligence) or the commercial side (opportunity identification, land acquisition, transaction support, financial analysis), or develop skills across both. You'll work on projects from concept through completion, gaining real responsibility and autonomy while learning from experienced professionals in an international environment.
The ideal candidate holds a university degree, ideally with a technical background in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field, though a strong interest in real estate development can compensate. You'll need solid analytical skills, fluency in Dutch and English, and an entrepreneurial mindset—the ability to identify problems, think solutions, and make things happen. Goodman values proactive, solution-oriented people who thrive in collaborative settings and are genuinely interested in how sustainability shapes modern development.
The package includes competitive fixed compensation, an annual discretionary bonus, eligibility for Goodman's share scheme, an electric company car or allowance, one day per week working from home, and access to learning opportunities.
