About this role
Baringa's baringa.ai Fellowship is a selective postgraduate program designed for recent Master's and PhD graduates with strong technical foundations who want to apply their expertise to real consulting challenges. Rather than a traditional early-career track, this role sits apart—you'll work from day one on live client problems alongside experienced engineers and subject matter experts, contributing meaningfully because of the technical depth you bring. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, statistics, or related STEM fields, especially those with research experience, substantial technical projects, or strong coding ability.
You'll join a small cohort of typically up to five Fellows per quarterly intake, giving you peer support while you develop technical, consulting, and commercial skills in parallel. Progression is based on demonstrated capability rather than tenure, and you'll have direct access to mentorship from people at the top of their field. The role offers genuine exposure to how technical work translates into client impact across Baringa's sectors—energy, financial services, government, consumer, pharma, manufacturing, and tech.
Baringa offers five weeks of annual leave upfront plus a five-year recharge benefit of two additional weeks, hybrid working flexibility, and a stated commitment to wellbeing and work-life balance. The firm is based in London and requires in-office attendance. If you've recently completed postgraduate study and want to build a career at the intersection of technical depth and applied problem-solving, this fellowship provides a structured entry point into AI-focused consulting work.
