About this role

Riverside Environmental Services, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join its South operations. You'll conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across domestic, commercial and industrial sites, collecting samples and producing detailed technical reports while maintaining strict compliance with HSG264 and industry standards. This is a hands-on role central to daily operations, requiring you to work independently across varied client portfolios while building strong relationships with site stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds BOHS P402 qualification and has proven experience carrying out asbestos surveys. You'll need a full UK driving licence, strong attention to detail, and a solid grasp of asbestos legislation. Beyond fieldwork, the role offers genuine development—you'll support and mentor trainee surveyors while building toward positions in team leadership, project management or auditing. Riverside actively funds additional qualifications like P403, P404 and P405, treating career progression as a structured pathway rather than an afterthought.

The package includes 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (with loyalty days available), life assurance at 2x salary, a company vehicle with fuel card or car allowance, pension scheme, and fully funded professional training. You'll receive all necessary equipment and PPE, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, and work within a team culture that values recognition and regular social engagement. This is a full-time, in-office role based in South, Kentucky, with a salary range of $32,000–$41,000.
