About the Team & Product

The Email+ team develops and supports a portfolio of products that integrate Microsoft Exchange email hosting with email filtering, archiving, encryption, backup, and a unified customer management portal (HostPilot). We also actively expand and modernize our Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Our current initiatives include:

  • Modernizing Microsoft 365 license management
  • Extending functionality of cloud-native M365 microservices
  • Integrating Email Protection with Microsoft 365 and Office 365
  • Developing and supporting streaming services for Microsoft Exchange Backup, Archiving, and related solutions
  • Improving the scalability, reliability, and security of our email platform

Today, our platform hosts and protects over 1 million mailboxes, providing enterprise-grade reliability, security, and performance.

We follow Agile/Scrum practices with two-week sprints, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using the .NET platform.
  • Build scalable backend services and APIs for cloud-based email and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Participate in the modernization of existing applications and migration toward modern architectures.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and engineering practices.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, development frameworks, and AI-assisted software engineering practices.

About this role

Intermedia's Email+ team is seeking a .NET Developer to build and maintain the backend services powering their cloud email and Microsoft 365 platform, which currently hosts over one million mailboxes. You'll work on designing scalable APIs, modernizing legacy systems, and integrating email security, backup, and archiving technologies across their product suite. The role sits at the intersection of Microsoft Exchange infrastructure and cloud-native microservices, offering exposure to both established systems and newer initiatives like Microsoft 365 license management and streaming services.

This position requires at least three years of professional .NET development experience, with strong C# and ASP.NET Core skills, plus hands-on knowledge of SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and Agile practices. Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, containerization, or email protocols is valued but not required. The team works in two-week sprints and emphasizes code quality, collaboration across product and DevOps functions, and staying current with emerging tools—including AI-assisted development platforms.

Based in Tbilisi on a hybrid arrangement, this role suits developers who want to work on large-scale, mission-critical systems within a stable, growth-oriented company known for promoting from within and maintaining long-term employee tenure. Intermedia explicitly encourages the use of modern AI development tools, so comfort with or interest in adopting those practices is a plus.
