Job role:
Are you reliable and focused? We're looking for someone like that to support our team to
- Define and maintain z/OS RACF security settings
- Work on concepts for new projects as well as design and implementation
- Handle Incident and problem management in the RACF security area and related subcomponents
- Do On-Call service for RACF support
- Manage certificates for z/OS USS (Unix System Services)
Your team:
You will be working in a team of employees based in Pune/India. We strive to keep our mainframes safe and secure. We are the experts for RACF and work in collaboration with the Security Manager and our customers, the application projects.
Job Responsibilities:
You have:
- Expert skills in z/OS operating systems, z/OS subsystems and RACF (3 to 5 years hands-on would be great!)
- Experience in z/OS RACF security on z/OS operating system and security tools (eg. Vanguard, zSecure etc.)
- User knowhow of Microsoft Office Palette
You are:
- A hands on person with aim to serve and support the customer
- A team player (but can work independently as well, of course)
- fluent in English, written and spoken
- keen on working in a huge z/OS landscape with endless challenges and opportunities
Shift Timing- 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM

About this role
Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Security Administrator to join its Pune-based team responsible for securing and maintaining z/OS RACF environments across a large mainframe landscape. The role combines hands-on technical work with project involvement, requiring someone with three to five years of direct experience in z/OS RACF security administration. You'll define and maintain security settings, design solutions for new initiatives, manage incidents and problems, handle on-call support, and administer certificates for z/OS USS. This is a hybrid position working the 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift.
The ideal candidate is technically expert in z/OS operating systems, RACF, and related security tools like Vanguard or zSecure, with solid Microsoft Office skills. Beyond technical depth, you'll need to be self-directed yet collaborative, fluent in English, and genuinely motivated to support both your team and customers.
