Role summary
We are seeking a creative and skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to build modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications. You will collaborate closely with our design, backend, and product teams to implement new features, enhance user experiences, and maintain existing applications

What You’ll Do
Play a key role in shaping the future of Payoneer’s application UI and setting high standards and best practices.
Building the UI of a comprehensive React application and developing our products and code for millions of customers in the fintech industry
Solving complex problems with creative and practical solutions
Implement features and user interfaces of Payoneer’s customer's cross border
Design and build efficient, reusable, scalable & testable Frontend
Collaborate with our amazing Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
Proactively identify areas of improvement in team systems, processes, and scalability
Lead by example in code quality, contributing significantly to code reviews
Monitor production systems and investigate potential issues
Who You Are
At least 6 years of experience in client-side development
6+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience including asynchronous programming and closures
6+ years of experience using React and the latest technologies
Hands-on experience with web applications architecture
Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Excellent communication skills – high level of English
Good to have
Experience working in a Saas product company.
Experience with Context, Router 5, Styled Components.
Familiarity in server-side technologies
BTech/BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering.

About this role
Payoneer is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of the UI layer across their React-based fintech platform, which serves millions of customers handling cross-border payments and financial workflows. You'll work in a hybrid setup in Gurugram, collaborating with product designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build responsive, high-performance web applications that simplify complex financial operations for users worldwide.
The role requires at least six years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and web application architecture. You'll be expected to solve complex problems creatively, design scalable and testable frontend systems, lead by example in code quality through thorough code reviews, and monitor production systems for issues. Beyond technical execution, you'll proactively identify improvements in team processes and scalability, and communicate technical concepts effectively across diverse stakeholders.
This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment and wants to influence product direction at scale. Experience with SaaS products, Context API, React Router, Styled Components, or server-side technologies is valued but not required. A background in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
