Position Summary:
- Join our Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome all guests whilst explaining the hotel facilities available
- Provide a quality of service, going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations
- Provide therapeutic massage and body treatments — including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy massage. Body treatments including body scrubs and mud wraps.
- Provide personalised skin care services to guests
- Ensure guest queries and requests are handled effectively and efficiently
- Assess guest needs and subsequently advise them on recommended skin, hair and nail home care regimens
- Complete standard reception duties focusing on attention to detail
About You:
- Working rights in Australia
- Experience in reflexology, lymphatic drainage or remedial is preferred
- 2+ years of massage experience in a luxury spa environment is preferred
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (HLT42021) or Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52021)

About this role
The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is seeking a part-time Spa Therapist to deliver therapeutic massage and body treatments to luxury hotel guests. You'll provide a range of services including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy massage, alongside body treatments and personalised skincare advice. The role also involves welcoming guests, explaining facilities, handling requests efficiently, and completing reception duties—all underpinned by the hotel's commitment to exceeding expectations.
You'll need Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or a Diploma of Remedial Massage, plus at least two years of experience in a luxury spa setting. Experience in reflexology, lymphatic drainage, or remedial work is preferred. This is a role for someone self-motivated and energised by fast-paced environments, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate care regimens.
