Position Summary:

Organise and maintain assigned section of the kitchen effectively

Serve food in proper portions and onto proper receptacles

Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period

Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed travellers expectations

Understand traveller’s requirements and deliver service excellence with each travellers experience

Maintain strong food safety and property standards
About You:

Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification

About this role
At Four Points by Sheraton Perth, you'd work as a Commis Chef in a casual, approachable kitchen environment focused on delivering straightforward, quality experiences to independent travellers. Your day involves managing your assigned station—prepping and cooking food to proper standards, plating with care, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency throughout service. You'll need to stay organised under pressure, understand what guests expect, and uphold strong food safety practices while contributing to a team that values can-do attitudes and smart problem-solving.
This is a part-time position suited to someone with a Commercial Cookery Qualification or equivalent trade qualification and hands-on kitchen experience. You should be self-motivated, energised by fast-paced work, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. Australian working rights are required.
