About this role
Equinox Engineering's India office is seeking a Senior Piping Stress Engineer to join its EPCM team supporting complex oil and gas, pipeline, and industrial infrastructure projects executed to North American standards. This role sits at the center of piping system validation, where you'll use CAESAR II to perform stress analysis across thermal, seismic, wind, and relief loads while ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and IBR codes. The work spans the full lifecycle of piping integrity—from evaluating nozzle loads and support selection, through WRC flexibility checks and flange assessments, to generating stress reports and identifying critical lines for multidisciplinary teams.
The position calls for 5–10 years of EPCM or oil and gas project experience with demonstrated expertise in CAESAR II and pipe support design standards. You'll need strong fundamentals in engineering mechanics and strength of materials, familiarity with 3D data-centric workflows using CAESAR II and Navisworks, and the ability to independently analyze piping systems and prepare technical deliverables. This is an in-office role in Pune supporting a global organization with projects across India, Canada, the United States, and Australia—offering exposure to high-profile, technically demanding work alongside international teams.
