About this role

Shift5 is looking for an Executive Assistant to support its leadership team at their Rosslyn headquarters in a hybrid arrangement. You'd manage calendars and logistics for multiple C-level executives, handle sensitive communications and expense reconciliation, coordinate high-stakes meetings and travel, and prepare briefing materials that keep leaders ready for strategic engagements. The role extends beyond scheduling—you'd drive process improvements across executive operations, track action items through board meetings and offsites, and serve as a trusted liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Success here means executives operate without administrative friction and strategic priorities drive the calendar. You'll need at least five years supporting senior leaders simultaneously, strong proficiency with tools like Expensify, Monday.com, Google Workspace, and Slack, and the judgment to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience in defense-tech, SaaS, or fast-growth startups is preferred. The base salary ranges from $85,000 to $120,000, with bonus, equity, full health coverage, uncapped PTO, and transit benefits.

This role suits someone who thrives in high-growth environments, anticipates problems before they arise, and takes ownership of executive operations end-to-end. If you've supported multiple executives through complex schedules and want to shape how a leadership team functions operationally, this is a direct fit.
