About this role

Suncoast Skin Solutions is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide dermatological care across its Hillsborough County locations (Tampa, Lutz, and Riverview). You'll work full-time in a clinical float role, rotating between offices while delivering direct patient care—conducting skin exams, diagnosing skin conditions including cancer, performing minor surgical procedures like biopsies and excisions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. The position requires independent clinical judgment, strong communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients and families, and the ability to complete documentation and MIPS requirements within 48 hours of each visit.

Beyond clinical duties, you'll counsel patients on skin safety and participate in community outreach for skin cancer prevention. The role demands someone comfortable working with minimal supervision, managing repetitive tasks without losing focus, and adapting to a rotating schedule that includes occasional weekends. You'll need an active Florida PA license, a master's degree from an AMA-approved PA program, and ideally some specialty clinical experience and EMR proficiency.

The position offers a salary starting at $90,000 annually with standard benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with matching; paid time off; and professional development support. This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule with weekend shifts as needed, and the work is entirely in-person.
