About this role

Ascension's Milwaukee location is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a full-time, in-office role. You'll assess patients, administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, perform lab tests and therapeutic services, and educate patients and families about treatment plans, self-care, and follow-up resources. The work spans the clinical and educational sides of nursing practice within a large nonprofit Catholic health system.

To qualify, you'll need a current Wisconsin practical nurse license obtained before your hire date, plus BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within your first month. A high school diploma or one year of directly relevant job experience satisfies the education requirement, though your professional licensure can substitute for either. This role suits someone with an active LPN credential ready to step into a structured healthcare environment and contribute to patient outcomes across assessment, medication management, and care coordination.
