About this role
FIGS' Scottsdale Community Hub is looking for someone to run embroidery operations on a part-time basis. You'd be responsible for the full workflow—reading orders, setting up machines, loading designs, selecting thread, hooping garments, inspecting quality, and handling repairs and maintenance. The role also involves steaming finished pieces, managing supplies, and keeping the workspace organized. You'd report to the Lead Embroidery Machine Operator and Store General Hub Manager, and you'd need to coordinate order status with the retail team.
This position requires hands-on experience with embroidery machines, ideally including single-head equipment and Barudan machines. You should be comfortable troubleshooting technical issues, editing designs on computer software, and working independently to meet deadlines. The work is detail-oriented and physical, so strong attention to quality and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously matter. Weekend availability is essential, and you'd be expected to work through the holiday season including Black Friday.
Beyond embroidery, you'd pitch in with general store support—sales, operations, and cafe tasks as needed. The pay is $14–$16 per hour based on your experience and qualifications. Strong communication, a positive attitude, and proven reliability are what FIGS is looking for in someone who wants to grow with the company.
