Team mission

Our Growth UX team serves as the strategic bridge between brand and product, where campaign intent meets the product experience and the GetYourGuide brand takes first form. We design experiences that turn traveler interest into booked trips across owned and competitive surfaces (SEO, AEO, paid social, paid search, and integrated campaigns). By combining data fluency with storytelling and emotion, we partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Data, and Product to ensure every post-click touchpoint delivers early signals of value, matches customer intent, and earns lasting trust.

Leading user experience for the Channel Landing Pages group, this role shapes the strategic direction for how travelers explore, decide, and book. You will define and scale an intent-led design vision and flexible page framework that powers our high-impact acquisition strategy. Partnering with Product and Engineering, you will drive systemic UX innovation that turns high-intent traffic into repeat customers and long-term business growth.

Your mission

  • Lead and grow a team of three product designers along with a dotted line content designer and UX researcher delivering the Landing Pages across a portfolio of page types and intents
  • Co-lead the Channel Landing Pages group alongside Product and Engineering counterparts, driving its operating rhythm, shared roadmap, and cross-functional alignment
  • Partner with brand and channel marketing leads to translate campaign intent into coherent, high-converting post-click journeys across web and app
  • Set and uphold a high bar for UI/visual design craft across the portfolio, through design reviews and hands-on guidance
  • Drive experimentation-led design decisions, using tests to de-risk major bets such as relaunches and new intent pages, while keeping an eye on long term innovation and evolution of the product across web and native surfaces
  • Coach and develop your designers individually, while creating cohesion across a group working on different page types and across channels
  • Anticipate and embed emerging trends like generative UI and new growth AI solutions.
  • You are responsible for the team’s output - ensuring beautiful, emotionally compelling, and pixel-perfect UX that shapes the future of our Channel Landing Pages group.

Your toolkit

  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with 3+ years in a people management role
  • Strong understanding of brand creative and marketing channel dynamics as it relates to UX
  • Strong personal craft in UI/visual design and ability to teach and raise the bar across the team in this area
  • A people-first coaching style: builds psychological safety, sets individual growth plans, and creates cohesion across designers working on different workstreams
  • Proven experimentation-driven design process in growth or conversion-focused product contexts
  • Comfortable holding an iterative execution path toward a broader UX vision, balancing near-term shipping with long-term direction
  • Concise, focused communication with senior stakeholders; able to distill ambiguous, in-flight work into a clear narrative and a clear ask
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to your work, with the ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence, and drive clarity that brings the user, technology, and business together into an actionable roadmap
  • Your learning-by-doing mindset allows you to adapt quickly and deliver impactful results in dynamic environments.
  • You are skilled at sequencing complex projects into manageable, actionable steps that drive progress across teams. You ensure every design decision is grounded in solving real user problems while aligning with business objectives.

Extras that give you an edge

  • Experience with SEO/AEO-driven design or landing page engagement and conversion optimization
  • Familiarity with paid and organic media strategies and mobile-first video experiences and approaches
  • Experience with AI-driven design or product workflows
  • Background scaling design teams at a mid-to-late stage startup

How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary

  • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development

About this role

At GetYourGuide, the Growth UX team sits at the intersection of marketing campaigns and product experience—designing the post-click journeys that turn traveler interest into bookings. As UX Manager for the Channel Landing Pages group, you'd lead a team of three designers (plus dotted-line support from a content designer and researcher) to shape how people explore and decide across web and app. This means owning the strategic direction of a flexible page framework, working closely with Product and Engineering to translate campaign intent into coherent, high-converting experiences, and driving the team's output to be beautiful, emotionally compelling, and pixel-perfect.

The role demands both strong design leadership and hands-on craft. You'll set the bar for UI and visual design across the portfolio through reviews and mentoring, coach designers individually while building cohesion across different page types, and ground decisions in experimentation—testing major bets like relaunches while keeping sight of longer-term innovation. You'll also need to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, balance near-term shipping with vision, and navigate ambiguity with confidence as you sequence complex work across teams.

You'll need 8+ years in product design with at least 3 years managing people, a strong understanding of brand and marketing channel dynamics, and proven experience in growth or conversion-focused contexts. A people-first coaching style, comfort with iterative execution, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential. Experience with SEO/AEO-driven design, paid and organic media, or scaling design teams at mid-to-late stage startups would strengthen your candidacy. The role is based in Berlin with a hybrid arrangement: three days in office and two optional work-from-home days, plus 30 days per year to work from anywhere.
