You'll spend your time preparing and formatting technical project manuals and reports, managing front desk operations, coordinating meetings and office logistics, and handling the documentation that keeps projects moving forward. The role demands strong proofreading skills and the ability to synthesize technical information, alongside the more traditional administrative work of scheduling, phone coverage, and client interaction.

This position calls for someone with at least five years of administrative experience, ideally in an architecture, engineering, legal, or construction environment, plus proven office management capabilities. You'll need advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and the organizational muscle to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without losing track. A bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred. Success here depends on clear communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced professional setting.

Farnsworth Group is a 650-person architectural engineering and surveying firm with 24 offices nationwide, and they've earned Great Place to Work certification for eleven consecutive years. The role is hybrid and full-time, based in St. Louis, with standard benefits including a 401(k) with full company match up to 5%, comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, professional development support, and wellness reimbursements.
