About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides for the Hackettstown area and surrounding communities in northern New Jersey. The role involves direct patient care—bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers using mechanical lifts, vital sign checks, and assistance with mobility and feeding. You'll also handle home management tasks like meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping, plus medication assistance as needed. Daytime and evening shifts are available, and the company aims to match you with clients near your home to minimize commute time.
The position pays $20–$21 per hour and offers flexible scheduling. You'll need a current HHA license in good standing, reliable transportation, English proficiency, and work authorization. One year of work references in any field is required, though newly certified aides are welcome. If you don't yet have your license, BAYADA offers certification classes. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours weekly qualify for basic health coverage; those averaging 30+ hours over three months gain access to full medical, dental, and vision plans. Additional perks include weekly pay, paid time off, scholarships, and 24/7 clinical manager support.
