About this role
OneOncology's New York Cancer & Blood Specialists is recruiting a hematologist or medical oncologist to lead cellular therapy and malignant hematology services in a community-based private practice setting. You would manage patients across the full treatment arc—from initial evaluation through long-term follow-up—with particular focus on CAR-T cell therapy, bispecific antibodies, and BiTE therapies for lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and related disorders. The role demands expertise in treatment planning, step-up dosing protocols, and the recognition and management of serious toxicities including cytokine release syndrome and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity.
This position suits physicians with board certification or eligibility in hematology or medical oncology who bring direct clinical experience in cellular therapy and malignant hematology. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team—physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and care coordinators—participating in case discussions and tumor boards while maintaining an active outpatient and inpatient practice. The practice values involvement in clinical research and trials, and familiarity with FACT standards, REMS programs, and CIBMTR reporting is expected. Additional training in stem cell transplantation or cellular therapy is advantageous.
The compensation package includes a base salary of $450,000 to $500,000 with no earning cap, comprehensive benefits, CME reimbursement, and a partnership track with no buy-in requirement. You'll practice within a fifty-year-old oncology group operating across multiple New York City and Long Island locations, supported by in-house laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and ancillary services, and backed by OneOncology's national platform.
