About this role

Fischer Homes is seeking a Warranty Field Manager to oversee residential construction warranty service in the Louisville area. In this temporary, in-office role, you'll manage warranty requests from customers during and after their first year of home ownership, working to resolve issues efficiently while balancing customer satisfaction with cost-effective solutions. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to dig into root causes, and clear communication with both customers and internal teams—particularly when delivering news that doesn't align with what homeowners hoped for.

The role is hands-on and physically demanding. You'll spend considerable time on construction sites and residential properties, navigating uneven terrain, climbing stairs and ladders, and wearing protective gear. You'll need to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, work in various weather conditions, and travel between job sites throughout the day. Equally important are your organizational abilities, database management skills, and attention to documentation—this work hinges on accurate tracking and clear record-keeping.

This position suits someone who genuinely enjoys customer service, thinks systematically about problems, and can take initiative within a collaborative environment. Fischer Homes, a major regional builder with over 700 employees, offers professional development, tuition reimbursement, competitive pay, and standard benefits including 401(k) matching and inclusive leave policies.
