About this role

EOS IT Solutions is looking for a Senior Data Center Repair Technician to handle the hands-on physical maintenance and repair of data center infrastructure in the New Albany area. You'll work directly with servers, switches, routers, and related hardware—diagnosing failures, replacing defective components like power supplies and network cards, and performing routine inspections to keep equipment running reliably. The role also involves managing spare parts inventory, documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with technical teams to minimize downtime, and supporting new hardware installations across multiple local sites.

This position suits someone with a technical diploma or certification in electronics or computer hardware and solid experience repairing IT equipment in a data center setting. Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and x86 servers is valued. You'll need strong organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities, solid troubleshooting ability, and comfort working in a physically demanding environment—lifting equipment up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds, plus working in tight spaces with heat and noise. A valid driver's license is required for local travel between sites.

EOS offers health, vision, and dental insurance, 10 days of PTO annually, 12 paid holidays, 6 sick days after 90 days, and a 401(k) with a $2,500 company match. Occasional overtime and bonus opportunities are available. This is a full-time, in-office role.
