About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and execution-driven Sales Program Manager to strengthen how the Sales organization forecasts, prioritizes, operates, and delivers results. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role will serve as a chief of staff to the Sales Leadership Team, driving alignment, accountability, and execution across the organization's most important initiatives.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and pivots quickly as business needs evolve. This person will build processes and protocols from the ground up when needed, while also refining and scaling existing practices.

We are looking for a proven program manager with demonstrated success solving complex business problems, driving project execution, and supporting cross-functional initiatives that directly impact Sales. Prior Sales experience is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do

Drive Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain visibility into key priorities, progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions, and adjust plans as business needs evolve.
  • Identify execution gaps, competing priorities, and obstacles, and escalate issues that require leadership attention.

Build and Improve Sales Processes

  • Design, document, implement, and continuously improve practical, scalable processes that enable consistent execution.
  • Partner with Sales leaders and cross-functional teams to understand pain points, clarify roles and workflows, and reduce unnecessary complexity or administrative burden.
  • Drive adoption of new or revised processes and confirm they are understood, usable, and delivering the intended results.

Manage Sales Operating Rhythms

  • Design and manage the Sales operating cadence, including leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate inputs and prepare materials that provide visibility into performance, priorities, risks, and opportunities.
  • Capture decisions, actions, owners, and commitments, and establish consistent follow-through.
  • Evaluate whether recurring forums are producing value and recommend changes when needed.

Lead Cross-Functional Programs and Initiatives

  • Manage priority programs from planning through implementation, defining scope, objectives, milestones, stakeholders, dependencies, and measures of success.
  • Coordinate work across functions, resolve execution issues, and keep initiatives moving as priorities and circumstances change.
  • Ensure completed initiatives transition into sustainable business processes and support change management for new strategies, tools, and ways of working.

Improve Sales Effectiveness and Accountability

  • Develop tools and mechanisms that provide visibility into Sales priorities, initiatives, commitments, and results.
  • Use business metrics, performance information, and team feedback to identify improvement opportunities and develop practical recommendations.
  • Create accountability and drive progress without taking ownership of work that belongs to Sales leaders or team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex programs, projects, business operations, or organizational initiatives.
  • Strong process-design and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity into practical solutions.
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to multitask and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to independently determine what requires action, attention, or escalation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to influence, create accountability, and drive progress without formal authority.
  • Comfort working with business metrics and using data to understand performance and inform decisions.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to move between designing a process and rolling up your sleeves to implement it.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within or closely alongside a Sales or revenue organization.
  • Familiarity with B2B sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, CRM systems, or revenue operations.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and Leadership Teams.
  • Experience designing operating rhythms, planning processes, or performance-management practices.
  • Experience implementing new processes and driving adoption in a fast-growing or rapidly evolving organization.

What Success Looks Like

The Sales Program Manager will make the Sales organization easier to operate and give Sales leaders more capacity to focus on customers, people, performance, and strategy. Success means:

  • Sales strategy consistently translates into clear plans, owners, actions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Leaders have timely visibility into priorities, progress, commitments, risks, and decisions.
  • Sales processes are clear, scalable, and consistently followed.
  • Operating rhythms drive decisions, accountability, and action rather than simply creating meetings.
  • Priority initiatives move forward reliably, and risks or execution gaps surface early enough for leaders to act.
  • The organization can adapt quickly as priorities change without losing clarity or accountability.
