Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for HHA - Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard.
We have current job openings for HHAs– Home Health Aides in the following locations:
- Hackensack
- Teaneck
- Fort Lee
- Garfield
- Clifton
- Passaic
- Jersey City
- Union City
- All towns in Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson Counties

BAYADA offers Home Health Aides (HHAs) the following benefits:
- Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
- Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

Qualifications for HHA – Home Health Aide:
- Minimum one year work references in any type of field. - "Newly certified welcome"
- Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- No license? We offer Home Health Aide Certification courses
Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Bathing
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance

The position requires a current New Jersey HHA license in good standing, reliable transportation, and English fluency; you'll need at least one year of work references from any field, though newly certified candidates are welcome. If you don't yet have your license, BAYADA offers certification classes. The company provides weekly pay, flexible scheduling, a short commute to matched assignments, and 24/7 clinical manager support. Employees averaging 30 hours per week over three months qualify for group medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; those working fewer hours have access to minimum coverage plans.
