Description

Build Your Own Business With the Support of an Established Industry Leader

Are you looking for more than just a sales job?

At Senior Benefit Services (SBS), we help motivated individuals build long-term, rewarding businesses serving seniors and Medicare beneficiaries. As an independent agent, you'll have the freedom of business ownership while leveraging the systems, support, technology, and resources of an organization that has been helping agents succeed for more than 50 years.

Unlike many insurance opportunities where agents are expected to figure everything out on their own, SBS provides exclusive lead opportunities, mentorship, marketing support, advanced technology, and access to more than 50 insurance carriers.

Even more unique, many new agents have the opportunity to receive an existing block of clients to serve through SBS agency acquisitions. Rather than starting from scratch, you may begin with established client relationships that can lead to referrals, retention opportunities, and additional sales.

At SBS, We Make Medicare Easy® for both the clients we serve and the agents who partner with us.

About this role

Senior Benefit Services is recruiting independent insurance agents to build their own Medicare-focused business with an established platform behind them. You'd meet with seniors and Medicare-eligible individuals to discuss insurance options—Medicare Advantage, supplements, life insurance, and related products—and develop ongoing client relationships through consultative service and policy reviews. The role offers genuine independence as a 1099 contractor with an uncapped commission structure, but paired with concrete support: exclusive leads (with $600 monthly lead support in year one), access to over 50 carriers, dedicated mentorship for your first 26 weeks, in-house marketing resources, and CRM technology. A meaningful differentiator is that new agents may inherit existing client blocks through the company's agency acquisitions, letting you start with established relationships rather than cold prospecting.

This opportunity suits someone with entrepreneurial drive who wants to build recurring income and a scalable business over time. You don't need an insurance license to apply, though you'll need to obtain one before contracting. Prior sales, customer service, healthcare, or education experience is helpful but not required; what matters more is strong work ethic, self-motivation, comfort with technology, and genuine interest in helping seniors navigate complex decisions. The compensation structure—weekly commissions, residual income on most products, and up to $2,500 in first-quarter bonuses—rewards both immediate sales and long-term client retention.

The in-office contract role is based in O'Fallon, Illinois. This is fundamentally a business-building opportunity rather than a traditional employment position, best suited for someone ready to invest effort upfront in exchange for the potential to create a self-directed, income-generating enterprise.
