About this role

Keeley Construction's Workforce Planning Specialist role centers on strategically deploying craft labor across the company's operating groups. You would own workforce data management in Excel and UKG, track employee skills and certifications, and coordinate the movement of craft workers between projects based on project needs and individual capabilities. The position requires building strong relationships with superintendents and field leaders to understand labor demands, forecast staffing needs, and identify opportunities to maximize utilization and minimize downtime.

This is a data-driven role that bridges operations and field leadership. You'll analyze workforce reports to spot trends, ensure compliance with certifications and training requirements, and support planning meetings with actionable labor reports. The work involves regular site visits to build relationships and support onboarding, so comfort with travel is essential.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in workforce planning, HR, construction operations, or recruiting, ideally within construction itself. You'll need strong Excel skills, proficiency with UKG or similar workforce management systems, and the ability to communicate clearly across craft employees, field teams, and executives. A bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or construction management is preferred. Spanish fluency is a plus. The role is full-time and based at the corporate headquarters in St. Louis.
