About this role
DTCC's General Counsel's Office is seeking a Business Aligned Compliance Associate Director to support the Data Repository's Chief Compliance Officer in managing derivatives compliance across North American trade operations. You would work at the intersection of regulatory requirements and business operations, monitoring CFTC, SEC, and Canadian regulations while coordinating compliance programs across multiple functional teams. The role involves preparing regulatory filings, developing compliance controls, and assessing policies for regulatory alignment—work that requires both deep regulatory knowledge and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable compliance frameworks.
This position calls for someone with at least eight years of compliance or related financial services experience, ideally with direct exposure to regulators like the SEC or CFTC. You'll need strong grounding in securities markets, financial services law, and compliance principles, paired with excellent communication skills to work across different organizational levels and geographies. Experience in trade repositories, regulatory reporting, or similar control environments would be particularly valuable.
Based in Tampa with a hybrid schedule (three days onsite, two remote), you'd report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and have opportunities to drive process improvements through automation and AI-enabled solutions. DTCC offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, pension, and flexible paid time off, alongside a commitment to professional development and workplace diversity.
