We're looking for an ownership-driven Procurement Manager for the Procurement team at one of our Ecosystem Companies. You will find, onboard, and negotiate with suppliers across Europe and globally, and use data and automation to make the supply chain faster, cheaper, and more reliable.

Join the A11 Ecosystem – a next-generation supply chain platform redefining how one of the world's largest industries sources, distributes, and finances materials. Engineered to unlock the full potential of global trade, it harnesses agentic AI and workflow automation to provide seamless, high-efficiency access to premium materials at scale. Since its commercial rollout, the platform has fueled exponential growth, optimizing procurement for thousands of businesses while setting new benchmarks for speed, transparency, and efficiency. Its competitive edge lies in full digitization and AI-driven supply chain management automation, eliminating inefficiencies and creating a direct, intelligent bridge between suppliers and buyers. With a team of 80+ FTEs across Europe (Berlin HQ), China, and India, the company is rapidly scaling toward profitability, driving triple-digit million GMV, and setting new industry standards in autonomous, AI-powered supply chain orchestration.

In this role, you’ll:

Source and negotiate with suppliers

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts for significant procurement spend (€1M+)
  • Build strong supplier relationships that support growth and reliable supply
  • Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance

Shape procurement strategy

  • Create and carry out plans for operational growth and efficiency that align with company-wide objectives
  • Track market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing, and adjust the strategy accordingly
  • Support long-term sourcing plans and risk mitigation

Improve operations with data and automation

  • Work with Sales and Operations to solve problems and improve processes through automation and data
  • Monitor performance data and KPIs and turn them into insights for the end-to-end supply chain
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement

Your Profile:

  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain contracting
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Hands-on, ownership-driven mindset, with independent problem-solving in fast-moving environments
  • Genuine interest in technology-driven change and in how AI can reshape global supply chains
  • Fluent German and/or Italian
  • Strong verbal and written English

Please note that this position is based in Berlin

Benefits and Perks:

  • Fulfil a role with entrepreneurial freedom and help scale a high-impact business model
  • Join an experienced founding team of serial and 2nd-time founders
  • Attractive base and bonus compensation program
  • Collaboration with top-tier investors and angels (incl. various unicorn founders) as well as leading market experts

If you’re eager to join the A11 Ecosystem and shape what’s next, we want to hear from you!

About this role

Project A's Ecosystem Company is building an AI-driven supply chain platform that's scaling rapidly across Europe and beyond. As Procurement Manager in Berlin, you'd own supplier relationships and sourcing strategy for a business processing triple-digit million GMV—meaning you'd be negotiating contracts worth €1M+ with suppliers across Europe and globally, finding new partners, and onboarding them into the platform. The role sits at the intersection of commercial growth and operational efficiency: you'd shape procurement strategy, track market trends, and work closely with Sales and Operations to identify automation and cost-saving opportunities that keep the supply chain competitive.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone with proven procurement and supply chain contracting experience who thrives in fast-moving, founder-led environments. You'd need strong analytical and negotiation skills, genuine curiosity about how AI and automation can transform supply chains, and the independence to solve problems without heavy oversight. Fluency in German or Italian is required alongside strong English; the role is full-time and in-office in Berlin.

The opportunity appeals to people who want entrepreneurial scope within a scaling business backed by experienced founders and top-tier investors. You'd have real influence over how the company sources and operates, rather than executing a predetermined playbook.
