About this role
Morgan & Morgan's general liability litigation team in Detroit is looking for a paralegal to support lead attorneys and legal assistants handling consumer protection cases. You'd manage the full lifecycle of litigation—drafting pleadings and motions, handling discovery, e-filing court documents, coordinating depositions, and preparing trial materials. The role also involves client and court communications, legal research, witness preparation, and administrative coordination across multiple active cases.
You'll need at least two years of litigation experience and strong organizational skills to juggle competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, or premises liability is preferred, as is completion of a paralegal program. This is a full-time, on-site role in Detroit with competitive pay, a bonus plan, and standard benefits including medical and dental coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. The firm emphasizes that every team member contributes to its mission of advocating for consumers against large corporations and insurance companies.
