About this role

Morgan & Morgan's Los Angeles office is looking for a Litigation Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals on active cases. You'll handle the operational backbone of litigation work: scheduling hearings and depositions, organizing case files and evidence, maintaining discovery indexes, and managing document systems in both paper and electronic formats. The role also includes drafting correspondence and legal documents, researching relevant laws and regulations, preparing client billing, and communicating with clients and witnesses to coordinate meetings and interviews.

The position suits someone with at least two years of administrative experience, ideally in a law firm or corporate legal department. While a high school diploma is the minimum requirement, candidates with a paralegal certificate, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree are preferred, as is prior experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, or other injury-related practice areas. You'll need strong organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, solid written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time, in-office role in Los Angeles at $30 per hour. Full-time employees receive medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
