About this role
Gates Hudson & Associates is looking for a Leasing Consultant to staff Flats at Neabsco, a residential community in Woodbridge. You'd be the primary point of contact for prospective residents—greeting them, touring units, qualifying their needs, and closing leases—while also handling ongoing resident relations, maintenance follow-ups, and community operations. The role blends sales activity with customer service; you'll manage leads and leasing paperwork, answer phones and in-person inquiries, conduct move-in and move-out inspections, and help keep the leasing office and model units presentation-ready.
Success in this position requires strong communication skills, genuine customer service instincts, and the ability to build quick rapport with both prospects and residents. While a high school diploma is the baseline requirement, the company prefers candidates with two or more years of leasing experience or a background in sales, hospitality, or customer service. You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of an onsite team.
Be aware that weekend availability is essential, as most prospect tours happen on weekends. The full-time position is based in-office in Woodbridge, Virginia, with a salary of $22 per hour.
