Five9 is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design and delivery of global benefits and well-being programs across a cloud software company operating in multiple regions and time zones. Reporting to the VP of Total Rewards, you'll oversee a dedicated team while managing the full lifecycle of benefits administration—from vendor relationships and compliance coordination to employee communication and annual program reviews. The role demands someone comfortable balancing global consistency with local market requirements, working across regional HR teams, finance, legal, and external consultants to ensure programs align with both company strategy and local legislation.
This position suits an experienced benefits leader with at least seven years managing complex, matrixed organizations. You'll need strong expertise in program execution, vendor management, cost analysis, and the ability to interpret global benefits trends and benchmarking data. Beyond technical knowledge, the role requires solid communication and influencing skills to present recommendations to senior leadership, project management capability to navigate ambiguity, and the organizational discipline to scale processes in a growing company. You should be equally comfortable with financial modeling and building partnerships across functions.
The role is hybrid for those within 30 miles of a Five9 office (three days per week on-site) and fully remote otherwise. Compensation ranges from $96,200 to $283,600 based on experience and location, with a comprehensive benefits package including full health coverage from day one, mental health support, generous PTO, 12 weeks paid parental leave, and stock options.
