About this role
Supporting AXS's German operations as a People & Culture Business Partner means bridging local market realities with a global entertainment company's evolving strategy. You'll be the primary HR advisor to German leadership, managing the full employee lifecycle while navigating German labour law and works council relationships. The role balances hands-on partnership with senior executives on people strategy with practical support for managers on day-to-day people issues, all while reporting directly to AXS Europe's VP of People & Culture.
This position sits at the intersection of culture building and operational HR. You'll shape how AXS's values take root in Germany, lead integration and harmonisation efforts as the company grows, and design engagement initiatives that stick. You'll also own recruitment strategy to support expansion, oversee learning and talent development, and manage the mechanics of payroll, benefits, and compliance in partnership with Finance. It's a role that demands comfort with complexity—organisational change, cross-regional collaboration, and the nuances of German employment law—alongside the ability to translate strategy into clear guidance leaders can act on.
The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with deep knowledge of the employee lifecycle and German labour law, comfortable working across time zones and stakeholder groups. You're proactive, organised, and genuinely invested in building inclusive, high-performing teams. You thrive in dynamic, growing organisations and see this as an opportunity to help shape an evolving People function while staying grounded in local needs.
