About this role
BHE Renewables is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of generating plant capital projects, from initial scope development through construction completion. You'll own project budgets, schedules, and cost control while coordinating across engineering teams, contractors, equipment suppliers, and regulatory agencies. This role demands someone who can negotiate competing priorities, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects stay on track and within budget while meeting safety and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate has at least eight years of project management experience in industrial or generating plants, backed by a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management (or twelve years of equivalent hands-on experience without the degree). You'll need strong technical skills in project controls, scheduling software like MS Project or Primavera, and contract management, paired with the leadership ability to direct cross-functional teams and train junior project managers. Comfort with field work is essential—you'll conduct site surveys, oversee contractor performance, and spend considerable time at plant locations.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Las Vegas. Note that the company does not sponsor immigration work authorization at this time. Depending on your background, the role may be filled at a lower level than senior.
